Education is what characterizes the editorial line of Educational Critique. Thus, the works to be published in it should relate to the teaching-learning processes that take place in formal and non-formal environments, that is, in basic and higher education institutions, as well as in non-school educational spaces, Institutionalized or not, such as social movements, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), Foundations, Institutes, trade unions, among others.

Open to the national and international academic community, Educational Critique has as general objective to enable the publication of papers that contribute to scientific development, with the updating and diffusion of knowledge in the area of education.

Specific objectives of the Educational Critique are: a) to enable the publication of research developed in the field of education; b) to promote the scientific production of the most varied theoretical-methodological references in the area of education; c) establish channels for dialogue and exchange among researchers, research groups and national and international institutions linked to education; d) to collaborate with the conjunctural debates that affect the national and international educational reality.

At the discretion of the Committee and the Editorial Board, Educational Critique may also publish dossiers on specific topics in the area of education, which should be organized by one or more researchers in the area, with prior request for space in the Journal.

The journal has a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for all texts.
